There are four different awards managed by the Amateur Radio Club Vienna - ÖVSV Landesverband Wien. For each of them, send your application and list together with  € 5,- or US$ 7,- or 5 IRC's to

For the ACA you have to work different cities from the city-list.  Each city - there are 148 - counts 1 point, the FREIE STÄDTE - there are 15 free cities - count 2 points each.

There are 3 different classes and therefore is a different amount of points to work.

  • HF class   1:   100
  • HF class   2:     70
  • HF class   3:     40

  • VHF class 1:     60
  • VHF class 2:     40
    VHF class 3:     20

Valid are all QSOs after January, 1st 1970 . on all bands and modes .  SWLs are welcome!

There are two classes of the Vienna Award:

Class 1: work all 23 districts of Vienna
Class 2: work 15 different districts.

Each station may only be worked once. Same rules apply for SWLs.

Valid are all QSOs after April 1st 1954  on all bands and modes.

For this award you have to work all countries along the Danube river 

15 DL-stations
  7 OE-stations
     (one station has to be an OE1-station),
  2 OM-stations
  5 HA-stations
  3 YU-stations (4N)
  3 YO-stations
  2 LZ-stations
  1 ER-station
  1 UR-station
  1 9A-station

All QSO after January, 1st 1958 on all bands and modes are valid.

WPX15 - Worked Prefix Zone 15 Award

  • class 1:  15 different countries with 50 different prefixes
  • class 2:  12 different countries with 40 different prefixes
  • class 3:    8 different countries with 30 different prefixes

  • class U:  4 different countries with 10 different prefixes
  • class T:  3 different countries with 8 different prefixes

Class T for connections in the TOP band (160 Meter).
Klasse U for VHF-UHF QSOs only.

The countries of CQ Zone 15 are:
ES, HA, HV, I, IS, IT, LY, OE, OH, OJ0, OK, OM, S5, SP, T7, T9,
TK, UA2, YL,YU6, ZA, Z31, 1A0, 4O, 9A, 9H und 4U1VIC.

All QSOs after January 1st 1958 on all bands and modes are valid. The same rules apply for SWL's.
